TIMBOON BIKE HIRE

Hire a bike from Ride With Us in Timboon and ride along the Camperdown to Timboon Rail Trail which runs from Camperdown, through Naroghid, Cobden, Glenfyne and Curdies through to Timboon. The Poorpa Yanyeen Meerreeng Trail (Timboon to Port Campbell Trail) is now also partially open from Timboon all the way to the coast at Port Campbell.

When making your online booking, select Timboon when entering your details from the pickup location drop down box.

Ride With Us can also provide transport for you and your bike as well as pets, or we will meet you with your bikes at your preferred start and end points. Please enquire with us about transport prices. Or with public transport running between Timboon and Cobden there is the option to ride from Timboon to Cobden or from Cobden to Timboon then catch the bus back.

Bike hire is available 7 days a week by prior appointment. We will meet you at your selected pick up time to arrange bike collection so please book your bike hire online or by phone in advance to avoid disappointment. ​

CAMPERDOWN TO TIMBOON RAIL TRAIL

The Camperdown to Timboon Rail Trail takes you through over the historic Timboon Trestle bridge, past relics of old railway trestle bridges, through bush and dairy farmland with rolling hills. A peaceful ride, you're likely to see dairy cows, hear the sounds of birds and you may see some wildlife. Visit the Camperdown to Timboon Rail Trail page to find out more information about the trail.

RAIL TRAIL CONDITIONS

SEPTEMBER 2025 UPDATE: Due to recent rain and wind, there may be some sections of the trail which may be muddy or you may come across fallen trees or branches. Volunteers run the Rail Trail, and they do their best to clean up the trail as quickly as possible. If you notice trees across the trail or anything that needs maintenance, please let us know or reach out to the Rail Trail Committee directly here.

The ride itself was amazing, even with a few light showers along the way. Port Campbell, a charming little beachside town, was the perfect destination to cap off the journey.

Lindon went above and beyond by picking us up in Port Campbell, driving us back to our car in Timboon, and sharing some fascinating local history along the way. His service and hospitality truly stood out.

$2 from every adult bicycle hired is donated to the Camperdown to Timboon Rail Trail.
​The rail trail is managed and maintained by a small group of volunteers and this donation assists with the upkeep of the rail trail.
