CAMPERDOWN TO TIMBOON RAIL TRAILThe Camperdown to Timboon Rail Trail takes you through over the historic Timboon Trestle bridge, past relics of old railway trestle bridges, through bush and dairy farmland with rolling hills. A peaceful ride, you're likely to see dairy cows, hear the sounds of birds and you may see some wildlife. Visit the Camperdown to Timboon Rail Trail page to find out more information about the trail.

RAIL TRAIL CONDITIONSSEPTEMBER 2025 UPDATE: Due to recent rain and wind, there may be some sections of the trail which may be muddy or you may come across fallen trees or branches. Volunteers run the Rail Trail, and they do their best to clean up the trail as quickly as possible. If you notice trees across the trail or anything that needs maintenance, please let us know or reach out to the Rail Trail Committee directly here.

"We visited just before Christmas on the 13th and had an incredible experience! Our first adventure in the area (visiting from Queensland) was a scenic 20km ride from Timboon to Port Campbell, and it exceeded all our expectations.
We met Lindon at the bike shed in Timboon—what a genuine, down-to-earth guy! He was super helpful and set the tone for a fantastic day. The ride itself was amazing, even with a few light showers along the way. Port Campbell, a charming little beachside town, was the perfect destination to cap off the journey.
Lindon went above and beyond by picking us up in Port Campbell, driving us back to our car in Timboon, and sharing some fascinating local history along the way. His service and hospitality truly stood out.
This was hands down one of the best experiences we’ve had—not just for the ride but for the outstanding service. We highly recommend Ride with Us to anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed!"
