THINGS TO DO WITH DOGSTimboon is the easiest town to get around with dogs as there are plenty of grassed areas and easy access to walking trails from the town centre which are dog friendly. There are also a few good take away places so you can grab something food and drinks to go, then sit and enjoy your food outside with your fur baby. Timboon Fine Ice Cream has outdoor seating plus they make doggy ice cream in four flavours. Dogs are also welcome in the gardens with outdoor seating area at Schulz Organic Creamery and Café just a few minutes drive from Timboon township. Poorpa-yanyeen-meerreeng-trailTimboon to Port Campbell is a bicycle, walking and running path which is approximately 20km taking you from just outside the Port Campbell town centre to the hinterland town of Timboon. The trail also connects with the Camperdown to Timboon Rail Trail once you reach Timboon. Pet friendly bicycle and walking trail.

CAMPERDOWN TO TIMBOON RAIL TRAILRide the Camperdown to Timboon Rail Trail from Timboon or Cobden. See remnants of the old railway line and cross the historic Timboon Trestle bridge at the Curdie's River Crossing. This trail joins with the 12 Apostles Bicycle trail in Timboon. Pet friendly rail trail.

RAIL TRAIL CONDITIONSSEPTEMBER 2025 UPDATE: Due to recent rain and wind, there may be some sections of the trail which may be muddy or you may come across fallen trees or branches. Volunteers run the Rail Trail, and they do their best to clean up the trail as quickly as possible. If you notice trees across the trail or anything that needs maintenance, please let us know or reach out to the Rail Trail Committee directly here.
